Lloyd was born and raised in London, England. He gained his Law & Politics degree, minor in Psychology – B. Soc Sc (Hons), before going on to attend law school and becoming a UK attorney.

​

Lloyd started his legal career as an attorney with one of the largest debt collection law firms in the UK.  His clients were multi-national and major national corporations, and Lloyd was involved with all stages of the legal process to collect outstanding monies due from debtors.  

​

​In 1993, Lloyd set up his own law firm. Initially, the firm acted for defendant insurance companies in respect of accident claims, and latterly, plaintiffs in such matters.  A large proportion of the firm's cases were recovery of insurers' outlays, using their subrogation authorization and recovery of uninsured losses for individuals who were not being reimbursed by a third party insurer.

 

With offices in both London, England, and Glasgow, Scotland, Lloyd's firm quickly became one of the largest small claims recovery companies across the UK, working with both corporate clients and individuals.

In 2012, Lloyd emigrated to the USA and became resident in Florida, subsequently becoming a proud US citizen in 2018.

​

Lloyd is a Florida Supreme Court Certified County & Circuit Civil Mediator, undertaking cases for Seminole, Orange and Osceola counties.  Additionally, Lloyd is also a FINRA Arbitrator.
